Cybersecurity Analyst

As a Cybersecurity Analyst, you will actively collaborate with an external team to strengthen the organization's entire security posture and ensure continuous monitoring of the systems.

You will constantly supervise the IT environment using platforms such as SIEM, EDR, and NDR. You will analyze alerts, distinguish real threats from noise, and independently make decisions regarding their prioritization and handling. You will work closely with internal and external partners to maintain a complete and up-to-date view of the threat landscape.

You are responsible for investigating, managing, and documenting security incidents. You will perform first- and second-line analyses based on existing playbooks and established procedures. You will ensure meticulous follow-up of incidents and actively contribute to the continuous improvement of response processes.

You will monitor vulnerabilities, assess risks, and link them to current threat intelligence. You will work with reports and tools from external partners and translate conclusions into concrete actions. Your goal is to proactively mitigate risks and strengthen the resilience of the organization.

You serve as the link between internal teams and external security partners (SOC). You ensure clear communication, share relevant information, and oversee the quality of documentation. By actively participating in meetings and exchanges, you contribute to smooth and efficient collaboration.

Finally, you contribute to the continuous optimization of processes, detection rules, and SOC workflows. You propose improvements, perform quality checks on monitoring and logging activities, and support audits. In this way, you contribute to the evolution and overall maturity of the SOC. You have a bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science and can boast initial relevant work experience within a Security Operation Center.

You master the following fields: fundamental security concepts, security monitoring and alert analysis, insight into common attack techniques and the MITRE ATT&CK model, knowledge of network components and protocols, as well as Java and Oracle SQL.

Expertise in the following domains is a plus:

Experience with EDR/NDR systems (such as Defender, Vectra, …) and an interest in threat hunting or post-incident analysis.

You are able to perform analyses independently according to clearly defined processes.

You are naturally curious, eager to learn, and want to deepen your knowledge in the field of security and security tools. Thanks to your team spirit and communication skills, you work smoothly with internal and external partners.

You work accurately, maintain a structured approach, and document your actions correctly.

Additionally, you have a good knowledge of French and speak fluent English.
