Restaurant Assistant

About the position

We are looking for an Operations & Procurement Specialist who can support and coordinate the daily operations of our restaurant business.

The role combines operational coordination, inventory management, procurement, and supplier management, with the goal of ensuring that materials, consumables, equipment, and services are available in an efficient and timely manner.

Main responsibilities

• Coordinate and follow up on daily restaurant operations.
• Coordinate operational needs with management as well as the restaurant and kitchen teams.
• Monitor deliveries, services, inventory, and operational activities.
• Identify and resolve operational delays, stock shortages, and delivery issues.
• Maintain operational routines, documentation, and reports.
• Support operational planning and process improvements.
• Coordinate the procurement of restaurant materials, equipment, and services.
• Create and follow up on purchase orders.
• Communicate with suppliers regarding availability, pricing, and deliveries.
• Monitor inventory levels and replenishment needs.
• Coordinate receiving, storage, and internal distribution.
• Follow up on delayed, missing, or incorrect deliveries.
• Maintain accurate documentation regarding procurement, suppliers, and inventory.
• Support the follow-up of supplier performance, comparison of quotes, and process improvements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Supply Chain, logistics, procurement, business administration, operations, engineering, or another relevant field.
• At least 5 years of relevant experience in operations, Supply Chain, logistics, procurement, or inventory management.
• Experience in procurement, supplier contact, inventory management, and operational coordination.
• Good ability to organize, analyze, and solve problems.
• Ability to work independently and handle multiple priorities simultaneously.
• Good ability to communicate in English in a professional environment; knowledge of Swedish is a merit.
• Experience from the hospitality industry, facility management, service industry, logistics, or retail is a merit.
