The SSC Financial Accounting department is holistically responsible for the accounting processes as well as the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for SMA AG and numerous national as well as international subsidiaries. As a central process and competence center, it further develops binding guidelines and standards, continuously optimizes accounting processes, and works closely with various business units as well as colleagues domestically and abroad. Furthermore, the team is responsible for the fixed asset and bank accounting of the managed companies.

Your Mission – what awaits you with us:

• Accounting – record and professionally assess business transactions of the managed national and international group companies according to IFRS, HGB, and tax requirements.
• Financial Statement Preparation – participate in monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements; provide consolidation information and prepare reports for various stakeholders.
• Processes – analyze existing workflows in the Shared Service Center, initiate optimizations, and drive implementation together with colleagues.
• Projects – participate in international and interdisciplinary projects, particularly regarding digitalization, process automation, and harmonization of the accounting landscape.
• Tools & Systems – use and further develop SAP S/4HANA (SAP FI) and MS Office, especially Excel, in a routine manner to ensure transparent and stable financial processes.

Your Profile – what you bring to the table:

• Completed degree in business administration or commercial training with corresponding further training, e.g., Bilanzbuchhalter (m/f/d).
• Professional experience in the accounting of an international company or an auditing firm.
• Sound knowledge of IFRS, HGB, and group financial statement preparation.
• Experience in project work, ideally in an international and interdisciplinary context.
• Very good written and spoken English skills as well as knowledge of S/4HANA (SAP FI) and MS Office, especially Excel.
