Role Description The Content Specialist will work full time on-site in Ibadan, developing and managing content across digital platforms to strengthen client brands and engagement. Day-to-day responsibilities include planning content calendars, writing and editing web and social media copy, and aligning content with overall brand and marketing strategies. The role involves collaborating with design, marketing, and account teams to ensure consistency of messaging and tone, as well as optimizing content based on performance metrics and feedback. The Content Specialist will maintain content repositories, update existing assets for relevance and accuracy, and contribute creative ideas for campaigns and brand storytelling. Qualifications
Requirements
- Candidates should possess strong Writing and Web Content Writing skills for digital platforms.
- Candidates should possess Content Strategy and Content Management skills for planning and maintaining brand-aligned materials.
- Candidates should possess solid Communication skills for effective collaboration with internal teams and clients.
- Candidates should possess familiarity with social media platforms, basic SEO principles, and digital marketing best practices.
- Candidates should possess strong attention to detail, the ability to meet deadlines, and a portfolio demonstrating content work.
- A relevant degree or equivalent experience in Communications, Marketing, Media, or a related field is beneficial.
