Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and process port and immigration formalities, declarations and vessel clearances.
- Take responsibility for operational matters and documentation relating to assigned vessels.
- Coordinate bunkering, husbandry services, crew changes, surveyors and suppliers.
- Arrange transportation for crew members between vessels, airports and other locations.
- Provide timely updates on vessel schedules, prospects and work progress to all relevant parties.
- Maintain good relationships with customers, shipowners, operators and service providers.
- Attend vessels physically at Singapore ports and anchorages when required.
Requirements
- Relevant experience in shipping agency or vessel operations.
- Good knowledge of port and immigration regulations, procedures and tariffs.
- Willingness to work irregular hours, including weekends and public holidays, according to vessel arrival and departure schedules.
- Able to work under pressure and respond promptly to operational requirements.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good coordination, communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Possess a valid Singapore Class 3 driving licence.
- Candidates who can commence work at short notice will have an advantage.
