Production Supervisor

SL MEX SLP is looking for a Production Supervisor to join our team.

Job Objective: Supervise and coordinate production operations and the personnel in charge, ensuring compliance with production, quality, safety, productivity, and efficiency objectives.

Main responsibilities:

• Supervise and develop operational personnel and production leaders.
• Ensure compliance with the daily production plan.
• Monitor production, quality, efficiency, and downtime indicators.
• Take immediate action in the face of deviations or problems in the process.
• Perform root cause analysis for defects, failures, and downtime.
• Implement containment actions and follow up on corrective actions.
• Ensure that the product meets established quality standards and criteria.
• Correctly verify line startups, check sheets, materials, and process conditions.
• Coordinate activities with Quality, Engineering, Warehouse, and other support areas.
• Train, evaluate, and develop the personnel in charge.
• Ensure compliance with safety procedures and use of EPP.
• Identify risks and improvement opportunities in production processes.
• Promote continuous improvement, discipline, and achievement of objectives.

Requirements:

• Industrial, Mechanical, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related degree.
• More than 5 years of experience as a Production Supervisor or in a similar position.
• Indispensable experience in the automotive/manufacturing industry.
• Advanced English, spoken and written.
• Experience in managing operational personnel.
• Knowledge of production, quality, and safety indicators.
• Experience in problem-solving and root cause analysis.
• Leadership, effective communication, and results orientation.
• Indispensable availability to work rotating shifts.
