Business Development Intern

The role Skytree is actively developing DAC projects in the Dutch greenhouse horticulture sector — a market with great potential in terms of sustainable energy and a growing demand for circular CO₂.

As a Business Development Intern for the Netherlands, you will support the team in identifying and developing these opportunities — from the initial contact to a project partnership. This is a practical, commercial role: you will map out customers, approach prospects, and help build the pipeline that brings Skytree's technology into practice.

Your impact Market development & mapping opportunities Supporting market research and mapping opportunities in the Netherlands, and qualifying potential project partners and off-takers.

Mapping new commercial opportunities.

Support in project development Collaborating on project proposals, business cases, and feasibility analyses for DAC installations.

Customer visits and presenting our product.

Maintaining and updating Skytree's strategic project pipeline across the various project phases (stage gates).

Collaborating with the business finance, product development, and commercial teams to bring projects from idea to realization.

Commercial intelligence Monitoring developments in the Netherlands.

Supporting the preparation of commercial presentations, pitch material, and partner briefings.

Contributing to Skytree's growing network in the Netherlands by identifying and approaching relevant contacts.

What we are looking for A master's student or recent graduate in Business Administration, Economics, Sustainability, Energy, or a related field.

Strong analytical and research skills — you turn market data into actionable insights.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Dutch and English.

An entrepreneurial attitude and a sincere interest in climate technology and the energy transition.

You feel at home in a dynamic, international team.

Experience in commerce, consultancy, or project development is a plus.

Availability from November for at least 6 months.
