About the company

Duration: Fortel are sourcing experienced carpenters!. Fortel is the largest Midlands based supplier of agency labour to the UK construction industry, providing contractors with pre-briefed, compliant teams formed of trusted and skilled workers for construction and key infrastructure projects.

Your tasks

• Using hand and power tools safely
• Following strict site safety procedures
• Making measurements and preparing the site for woodwork
• Designing and installing fitted wooden shelves, cabinets and drywall
• Installing fixtures and fittings such as handles, locks and hinges
• Select and also evaluate materials for potential defects
• Reading and interpreting designs to meet specifications set by Architects

Requirements

• CSCS Blue or Gold Card
• Have a minimum of 4-5 years
• Manual Handling
• Plant and Vehicle Marshall
• Experience in shuttering/formwork carpentry on large construction or civils projects
• Right to work in the UK
• NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Formwork/Carpentry is desirable

• Concrete Shuttering & Finishing Occupations: 1 year (preferred)
• Carpentry: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification

• CSCS blue (required)
