Your duties As a Mechanical Development Engineer, you will become part of a dedicated and open team where collaboration, knowledge sharing, and development are in focus. The team is responsible for installation design within research and development projects and works closely integrated with system design, providing a varied and stimulating everyday life. The role offers great opportunities to develop both technically and professionally. For those who want to broaden their competence, there is an opportunity in the long term to take on a more coordinating role and support other mechanical designers within the development projects. In the role, you will among other things:

Develop and design steel structures as well as installation solutions for development projects.

Produce manufacturing documentation and technical documentation in Siemens NX.

Participate in the development and improvement of product standards, technical solutions, and functions.

Ensure that technical solutions are cost-effective, quality-assured, and meet applicable requirements.

Collaborate with purchasing and subcontractors to develop optimal technical solutions.

Participate in troubleshooting, root cause analyses, and technical investigations.

Collaborate with other technical areas and contribute to the overall design of the gas turbine packages.

Plan and execute design work according to project schedules.

Create, review, and update technical documentation within your area of responsibility.

Your profile

Has a university or master's degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent experience.

Has experience in mechanical design and product development.

Has knowledge of relevant norms and standards within process and mechanical engineering, for example PED and ASME.

Communicates fluently in English, both spoken and written. Knowledge of Swedish is a merit.

Has a great interest in technology and is driven by learning new things.

Thrives in a changing environment with many contact surfaces and technical challenges.

Is structured, proactive, and has the ability to prioritize your work effectively.

Enjoys collaborating and feels ownership of your tasks.
