Your duties

As a Low Voltage Electrical Systems Engineer, you will become part of Siemens Energy's Electrical Systems department and work with customized solutions for gas turbine projects worldwide. Together with your colleagues, you will be responsible for the construction, design, and documentation of electrical systems, ensuring that customer requirements are met with the right quality, cost, and delivery time.

The role involves many contact surfaces, and you will collaborate closely with project management, assembly, commissioning, procurement, suppliers, and subcontractors. You will also function as technical support during project execution and follow projects all the way through the assembly phase in the workshop.

In the role, you will, among other things:

Responsible for electrical design and documentation in customized gas turbine projects.

Design and develop low voltage systems and equipment such as frequency converters, starter motors, battery systems, UPS plants, and switchgear.

Ensure that technical solutions meet customer requirements, quality standards, and the project schedule.

Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to create effective and sustainable solutions.

Provide technical support to the assembly and commissioning organization during project execution.

Participate in the workshop to follow and support projects through the entire assembly process.

Contribute to the development of future energy solutions through high-quality engineering and a close customer focus.

Your profile

We are looking for you who have a relevant education in electrical power, electrical engineering, or a similar field, as well as several years of experience working with electrical systems. You have a good technical understanding and thrive in a role where you can combine design, problem-solving, and collaboration with many different contact surfaces.

To succeed in the role, we would prefer that you have:

Experience in electrical design and working with electrical systems in industrial environments.

Experience with power generation plants, gas turbines, or related products is meritorious.

Knowledge of COMOS and/or SAP, which is seen as a major advantage.

Experience in analyses and calculations within electrical power, for example with tools such as ETAP.

Practical experience with UPS systems, battery systems, or other low voltage equipment.

Experience with Siemens SINAMICS drive systems and SIMATIC STARTER is meritorious, especially regarding configuration, commissioning, and troubleshooting.

Good knowledge of English, both spoken and written. Swedish spoken and written is meritorious.
