🌰 Skello in brief

At Skello, we develop the leading HR solution for scheduling and managing field teams.

In Europe, field teams represent 50% of workers, but only 20% of digital solutions are truly addressed to them.

Skello was born to fill this gap: a collaborative and intuitive platform that simplifies the daily lives of managers and employees by optimizing and automating key tasks.

We put field teams at the heart of everything we do. With intelligent tools like our Assistant Skello and our smart planner, we respond directly to their unique needs.

Our ambition is simple: to become the must-have HR solution for all field teams in Europe.

🚀 Skello in numbers

  • 7 key sectors
  • 25,000 companies trust Skello today.
  • 600,000 employees use Skello every day.
  • The Skello team consists of more than 400 employees.
  • 3 European hubs: Paris, Lille, and Barcelona.

💙 Our company culture

We know that to achieve our mission, we must live our values every day (SHIFT).

  • 💡 Set the bar higher everyday
  • 🤝 Have each other’s back
  • 🚀 Imagine tomorrow, start today
  • 👟 Focus on customers first
  • 😄 Take work seriously, not ourselves

🔎 Focus on the Design team

The goal of the Skello Design team is to ensure the best possible experience for our customers and to create features that empower them to act. At the heart of all our projects, Product Designers are at the forefront of creating our products, finding solutions to make them bold and easy to use.

You will join a passionate, talented, and multidisciplinary team dedicated to developing innovative experiences, creating exceptional designs integrated into products, and improving the technical standards of features used by millions of people across Europe.

If you consider Product Design to be a discipline that combines intuition, creativity, and rational reasoning, then you are the person we are looking for and this position is made for you.

What you would do here 👇🏼

Product innovation & UX

  • Design key screens (onboarding, AI-native paradigms, signature experiences)
  • Innovate on user experience patterns based on what you observe from our users
  • Reinvent standards when existing patterns are no longer sufficient

User research

  • Interview our users and translate insights into principles and patterns with Product Strategists
  • Test key screens and new patterns with real field users (managers, employees) before integrating them into the DS: prototype testing, usability testing, guerrilla sessions in restaurants or stores

Global consistency

  • Responsible for the structure and visual/interactional consistency of the product as a whole
  • Detect deviations and correct them upstream
  • Arbitrate exception cases (when to step outside the system and when not to)

Defining foundations & evangelization

  • Define the visual and interactional principles of the Skello product (product & design principles), anchored in the real usage of field teams
  • Build the DS architecture: tokens, components, patterns, motion, accessibility
  • Define the standards that structure the global consistency of the product
  • Document each component with its DOs & DON'Ts, its use cases, and its anti-patterns
  • Train Product Strategists and Product Engineers on the use of the DS
  • Lead adoption rituals (screen reviews, Q&A sessions, DS releases…)

Construction and maintenance

  • Build and maintain DS components (Figma + Storybook) and ensure alignment between design / tech versions
  • Version, deprecate, and evolve the library over time

AI-consumable encoding

  • Encode the DS so that it can be utilized by agents: tokens, machine-readable guidelines, reference prompts
  • Guarantee that 90% of screens can be generated by an agent from the DS without manual rework
  • Work closely with AI Product Ops on the integration of the DS into the agent stack

AI fluency

  • Use AI tools to accelerate the production of components and documentation
  • Exercise a critical eye on screens generated by agents: approve, rework, or reject with high standards
  • Build the technical conditions so that AI produces Skello-quality screens

Brand × Product Link

  • Bridge the gap between the brand and the product
  • Ensure that the product creates emotion and nurtures brand preference
  • Align cross-channel visual language (in-app, marketing site, communication)

What we would like to find in you 😍

  • You have a minimum of 4 to 5 years of experience in Product Design
  • You have created striking, innovative, and intuitive user experiences
  • You test your designs with users and know how to transform insights into design decisions
  • You have already built or maintained a Design System at scale
  • You are as comfortable in Figma as in Storybook and have an appetite for the technical (front) side
  • You think in terms of components, scalability, and dependencies before unit production
  • Your level of craft is high: visual and interactional excellence is non-negotiable
  • You understand what an AI agent can consume and you optimize for it
  • You know how to convince through quality and documentation, not through authority
  • Professional English
