🌰Skello in brief

At Skello, we develop the leading HR solution for scheduling and managing field teams.

In Europe, field teams represent 50% of workers, but only 20% of digital solutions are truly addressed to them.

Skello was born to fill this gap: a collaborative and intuitive platform that simplifies the daily lives of managers and employees by optimizing and automating key tasks.

We put field teams at the heart of everything we do. With intelligent tools like our Skello Assistant and our smart planner, we respond directly to their unique needs.

Our ambition is simple: to become the must-have HR solution for all field teams in Europe. 🚀

🚀Skello in numbers

  • 7 key sectors
  • 25,000 companies trust Skello today.
  • 600,000 employees use Skello every day.
  • The Skello team consists of more than 400 employees.

🛠️ The data team

At Skello, we are convinced that data is a very powerful lever for growth and structuring.

To take full advantage of it, our vision is based on 3 fundamental pillars:

  1. Guaranteeing data quality
  2. Developing analytical expertise close to the business units
  3. Driving innovation (Machine Learning, generative AI)

Roles within the team are not siloed, and everyone has the opportunity to upskill in all aspects of the data cycle.

The team is organized as follows:

  • Analytics team structure: Led by our VP Product & Data (Ariane), the team currently consists of Delphine (Lead Data Analyst), 2 Data Analysts, and one intern.
  • Engineering synergy: We collaborate in close alignment with the Data Engineering team (reporting to the CTO), which manages data ingestion as well as the robustness of our technical foundation (AWS, Stitch, Airbyte, Airflow, Snowflake).

We use a modern and high-performance data stack:

  • Snowflake (data lake and data warehouse)
  • ETL via dbt with versioning on GitHub and scheduling via Airflow
  • Looker (dashboards)
  • Use of a Claude license

We are recruiting a Senior Data Analyst to strengthen the team across several dimensions: the ability to challenge business needs, to structure complex end-to-end analyses, and to raise the technical and methodological standards of the entire team.

You will report directly to Delphine, Lead Data Analyst.

🎯 Missions

Your main missions will revolve around three axes:

  • Business Partnering & Advanced Analytics:
  • Be the preferred and trusted point of contact for Skello's various business units (Sales, Finance, Marketing, Product, Ops...) in order to translate their problems into technical and analytical solutions.
  • Propose new strategic KPIs and design robust and scalable performance dashboards on Looker.
  • Perform advanced ad-hoc analyses to answer complex business questions and inform the company's decision-making.
  • Data Pipeline Modeling & Optimization:
  • Maintain, optimize, and evolve our ETL pipeline via dbt in connection with our Snowflake data warehouse.
  • Design new data models or restructure the existing codebase by applying market best practices (tests, documentation, code quality).
  • Actively collaborate with technical teams (Data Engineers, Devs) to seamlessly integrate new data sources.
  • Mentoring, Excellence, and Innovation:
  • Act as a technical reference within the data analytics team: share your knowledge, support the upskilling of more junior profiles (notably the intern), and instill a culture of rigor.
  • Explore and implement AI-augmented data tools and assistants (documentation generation, analytical agents, querying assistance) to make them a concrete lever of productivity and innovation for the entire team.

Profile sought

  • 4-7 years in Data Analytics, ideally in B2B SaaS or a scale-up
  • You have already supported several different functions during your career (Sales, Clients, Finance, Marketing, Product, Ops..). You are not a specialist in a single business area; you know how to quickly adapt to the vocabulary and challenges of a new domain.
  • You have already acted as a technical reference in an analytical team, without necessarily having managed people. You know how to teach, raise the level, and maintain high standards.
  • Advanced SQL: you read and write complex SQL with ease, and you know how to optimize what needs to be optimized.
  • dbt in production: you know modeling best practices, you have already contributed to redesigning or structuring a dbt codebase, and you know how to document and test. Our stack relies on dbt and Snowflake.
  • Looker (LookML): you know how to structure a LookML project properly. Alternatively, solid experience in Tableau, Metabase, Lightdash, or equivalent, with the ability to quickly ramp up on Looker.
  • Knowledge of the modern data ecosystem (Airflow, Airbyte, Snowflake).
  • Curiosity or practical experience with AI-augmented data tools is a real plus (querying assistants, documentation generation, analytical agents). We want to make AI a concrete productivity lever for the team.
  • Fluency in French and English is mandatory.

The process

  • HR interview with a member of the Talent Management team
  • A business interview with Delphine, Lead Data Analyst
  • A practical case, with Delphine and Ariane, VP Product & Data
  • A final interview with Quitterie, our CEO
  • A coffee / e-coffee fit with a member of the Data team
