We are currently looking for a Middle/Senior Legal Counsel who is ready to dive into business processes, work with contracts, and develop the legal function together with the team.
Tasks awaiting you in this role:
- Legal support for the Ukrainian corporate structure, including projects of the charitable foundation.
- Preparation, analysis, and negotiation of contracts both within businesses and for infrastructure needs (mostly in foreign jurisdictions).
- Conducting KYC of counterparties.
- Participation in the improvement/automation of internal processes (including in the area of contracts and KYC), conducting training to increase the level of legal culture.
- Collaboration with internal teams to support business processes and their legal compliance (business teams, finance, auditors, accounting, and others).
- Consulting on legal risks, regulatory changes, and current issues affecting company processes.
- In the future — a focus on developing the contract and KYC direction for individual businesses, as well as building and automating the corresponding processes.
What is important to us:
- 3+ years of experience in the field of legal business support, including business structuring, the contractual part, and other integral issues in business activities (a basic understanding of international corporate law will be an advantage).
- Excellent skills in drafting, analyzing, and reviewing contracts.
- High level of autonomy, proactivity.
- Orientation towards practical solutions that meet business goals.
- Understanding of business processes and the ability to see the big picture of possible risks.
- English: Upper-Intermediate+ — for working with contracts and communication.
- Readiness for development, multitasking, and growth within the team.
