The Wealth & Asset Management (WAM) division unites the three business areas - Private Wealth Management & Family Office (PWM&FO), Asset Management, and Life, and together with the newly established product area Investments & Trading Solutions, the WAM division has a clear purpose to significantly strengthen the offering and grow within the wealth and asset management segments.

PWM&FO offers comprehensive banking services, access to capital markets, financing solutions and individually tailored advisory services. The advisory services are based on SEB's vast range of financing and investment products. PWM&FO has a local presence in Sweden, Denmark, Norway, Finland, Germany, Luxembourg, Singapore, UK, and representative offices in Nice and Zurich.

SEB in Luxembourg serves as the hub for PWM&FO to Nordic nationals living abroad. We are around 150 employees with more than 20 different nationalities.

About the team

The Asset Servicing team supports clients of PWM&FO International by providing active client service and a solid financial infrastructure for banking products and services, such as cash management, custody, accounting, portfolio solutions and investment structures. The team was established to manage and develop Asset Servicing solutions to professional clients of PWMFO International. The team manage the relationships with both internal stakeholders and selected external partners that are part of the value proposition that we offer to our clients. Through our broader team of Asset Servicing professionals, we secure a robust service delivery and continuous product development, providing clients of PWM&FO International with access to a comprehensive Asset Servicing offering.

About the role

In this role as an experienced Business Developer, you will be driving our commercial agenda securing delivery of Asset Servicing solutions fitting to the needs of existing and new clients. Working closely with our Product Managers and the Coverage teams across SEB Group, you will execute on an ambitious growth and transformation agenda.

Your responsibilities include the following but are not limited to:

  • Identify, evaluate, and develop new business opportunities in line with growth strategy
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and key stakeholders
  • Analyse market trends, customer needs, and competitive activity to inform opportunity development
  • Develop value propositions, business cases and proposals
  • Support negotiation and contracting activities to secure profitable outcomes
  • Manage and maintain a qualified pipeline, including forecasting and reporting
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure delivery feasibility and commercial alignment

What we are looking for

  • At least 10 years of working experience, ideally within the International Asset Servicing Industry
  • Preferably a bachelor's or master's degree in economics or a related field
  • Proven commercial track record
  • Structured and solution oriented-oriented approach to work
  • High degree of personal integrity and ability to handle confidentiality in a professional way
  • Strong networking and relationship building skills
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills with a genuine interest in banking and finance
  • Fluency in English and a Nordic language. Additional language skills are considered an advantage.
