We're Hiring: Junior Server Engineer

About the Role We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Server Engineer to join our IT Infrastructure team. You will be responsible for supporting, managing, and maintaining our server infrastructure, virtualization environment, storage systems, and network services to ensure reliable and optimal operations.

This role is ideal for someone who has a strong interest in Linux system administration, networking, virtualization, and infrastructure operations.

Key Responsibilities: Manage and maintain Linux servers and related services. Manage virtualization clusters using Proxmox VE. Manage storage infrastructure using TrueNAS. Configure and maintain network infrastructure, including VLAN, VPN, and firewall using OPNsense. Manage reverse proxy services using Nginx Proxy Manager. Monitor server and network performance using Grafana, Prometheus, and Zabbix. Manage backup and disaster recovery processes using Proxmox Backup Server (PBS). Perform troubleshooting and preventive maintenance to ensure infrastructure stability and optimal performance. Maintain infrastructure documentation, technical configurations, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).

Requirements & Qualifications: Basic to intermediate knowledge of Linux operating systems, particularly Ubuntu and Debian. Understanding of virtualization technologies such as Proxmox VE or VMware. Understanding of networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, VLAN, Routing, VPN, DNS, DHCP, NAT, and Firewall. Familiarity with MikroTik devices and network configuration. Understanding of storage concepts, RAID, and NAS. Familiarity with Git and basic version control workflows. Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Willingness to learn new technologies and develop technical skills. Disciplined, responsible, detail-oriented, and communicative.
