Business Planning Analyst with fluent knowledge of Korean

SJR is now seeking a Business Planning Analyst for our client in Kista, a large international company within the electronics industry. This is a full-time consulting assignment starting as soon as possible for 6 months with good opportunities for extension. You will have the opportunity to work closely with the business in a dynamic environment with presence in the office five days a week.

About the position

In this role, you will play an important function in the company's planning and follow-up work. You are responsible for analyzing business results, developing forecasts, and contributing market insights that support both operational and strategic decisions. The role involves many contact surfaces within the organization and close collaboration with management and other business functions.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the preparation and development of business plans.
• Analyze market development, competitive situation, and business opportunities.
• Prepare and update rolling forecasts and financial forecasts.
• Follow up on business key performance indicators (KPIs) and analyze outcomes against budget and forecast.
• Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual profit and loss (P&L) reports.
• Identify deviations and provide recommendations to the business.
• Develop and compile reports and decision support for the management group and senior management.
• Conduct market and environmental analyses to identify trends, opportunities, and risks.
• Support the business with analyses and insights that contribute to profitability and growth.

Suitable background

We are looking for someone with an academic degree in economics, finance, business administration, or equivalent. You have experience in business planning, financial analysis, controlling, or similar analytical roles where you have worked with budgets, forecasts, and reporting. You have a good understanding of financial models and are accustomed to translating numbers and analyses into business recommendations. Furthermore, you have very good knowledge of Excel as well as experience with financial systems and reporting tools. You communicate fluently in Korean and English, both orally and in writing.
