UAV Surveyor (Sizewell C) CWA Sizewell C

Ready to take your surveying career to new heights?

We're looking for a talented UAV Surveyor to join our growing Survey team, supporting Sizewell C through cutting-edge drone technology and geospatial data solutions. Working closely with the UAV Coordinator, you'll play a key role in delivering aerial surveys, inspections, mapping, data processing and digital survey outputs that support project delivery.

What you'll be doing

• Conducting UAV operations for aerial surveys, inspections and mapping.
• Planning and delivering safe, compliant drone missions.
• Processing and analysing survey data using specialist software.
• Producing maps, reports and visualisations for project teams.
• Supporting construction and engineering teams with high-quality geospatial data.
• Maintaining flight records, equipment logs and operational documentation.

Qualifications

Certified UAS Pilot (A2 CofC, GVC, RPC-L1 or equivalent).

Experience

• Previous Survey Experience Experience planning and collecting aerial survey data, with knowledge of terrestrial survey equipment such as GNSS and laser scanners.
• Commercial Experience Proven commercial experience within the built environment and a strong understanding of delivering survey services in a project-focused setting.
• Experience with specialist survey and data processing software such as Pix4D, Cyclone 3DR, ArcGIS or QGIS.
• Minimum 150 hours of commercial UAS operations.
