Fleet Maintenance Manager (M/F/X) - Nantes (Saint-Aignan) - CDI

Join SIXT in Nantes and take charge of the complete management of our fleet maintenance. In this strategic CDI role, you will drive the entire vehicle repair process, ensuring compliance with European and French road regulations as well as manufacturer (OEM) contracts. Our customers' safety is your absolute priority, and you will optimize every step to keep our fleet in optimal condition.

YOUR ROLE AT SIXT

• Bodywork damage assessment: You estimate repair costs based on observed damage and call upon an independent expert if necessary
• Choice of repair method: You define the best repair method (bodywork, mechanics, electricity) taking into account manufacturer contracts, repair costs, and downtime
• Negotiation and follow-up: You negotiate quotes, place orders for parts and repairs, and ensure follow-up with partners and workshops
• Downtime optimization: You minimize the time during which vehicles are out of service
• Spare parts purchasing: You manage parts procurement by optimizing price, discounts, and availability
• Agency support: You are the maintenance point of contact for the agencies, participate in the technical training of employees, and contribute to improving damage detection
• Billing and cost control: You verify repair invoices and control fleet costs
• Transversal technical support: You provide your expertise to the Safety, Claims, and Car Control departments

YOUR SKILLS THAT COUNT

• Training and experience: You have a Bac+2 to Bac+5 degree in automotive repair, bodywork, automotive expertise, or fleet maintenance, and have at least 5 years of experience in bodywork, automotive expertise, or an automotive workshop
• Technical expertise: You master bodywork, mechanics, powertrain, electricity, and spare parts, with solid expertise in automotive damage assessment
• IT tools: You have a good command of Office tools and expertise tools (IRIS, SIDEXA, GT Motive)
• Leadership: You possess strong leadership and a sense of responsibility, you are proactive, and have a strong team spirit
• Interpersonal skills: You are recognized for your empathy, active listening, and pragmatism
• Mobility: You are mobile and ready to travel (approximately 1 day per week on the road), and hold a driver's license
• Languages: You have professional proficiency in English
