Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate tractor-trailer on long-distance routes between Canada and the USA
- Secure and inspect loads to ensure cargo safety during transit
- Complete required trip documentation including logs, inspections, and border paperwork
- Communicate effectively with dispatch for scheduling, trip updates, and delivery instructions
- Comply with safety regulations, company policies, and border requirements
Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year of verified commercial driving experience (flat deck experience preferred)
- Valid Canadian Passport OR Permanent Resident status with valid USA Visa
- Clean Driver Abstract with proven safe driving record
- Ability to pass pre-employment alcohol, drug screening, and medical exam
- Criminal record check
- Strong communication skills; must be able to read, speak, and write in English
- Availability for overnight and multi-day trips
- Must be legally eligible to work in Canada and cross the US border
