Director, Commercial Excellence APAC

This pivotal role is central to setting the agenda and standard for commercial excellence across APAC. As Director, Commercial Excellence APAC, you will own the design and rollout of WSA's Commercial Excellence program, embedding the Smart Lean methodology into how every country team operates. Reporting to the Regional President, APAC, you will drive commercial excellence in the region — building the program in partnership with global teams, training markets in it, and ensuring it becomes the operating rhythm of every country's commercial approached.
What you will do
- Partner with global teams to build and shape WSA's Commercial Excellence program for APAC, ensuring it reflects both global standards and regional commercial realities.
- Own the integration and rollout of the Smart Lean methodology into commercial excellence, embedding it as a core operating discipline across the region.
- Train and upskill the region in WSA's commercial excellence agenda, maintaining a consistently high standard across all APAC markets.
- Champion commercial excellence at the country level, working closely with country commercial teams to ensure the program sits at the center of their day-to-day ways of working.
What you bring Experience
- 5+ years of commercial experience, complemented by a minimum of 5 years leading project and change management initiatives, with formal change management qualification.
- Smart Lean trained and experienced, with a track record of embedding the methodology into real commercial operations.
- Strong interpersonal skills, with a demonstrated ability to bring diverse country teams along through complex transformation.
- Experienced working across multiple countries or multinational contexts, able to adapt a regional agenda to fit varied market realities.
