Control Engineer - Hermosillo
We are looking for a Control and Automation Engineer responsible for the design, implementation, programming, and optimization of automated systems, with the objective of maximizing operational efficiency, process continuity, and plant safety. The position will have an active role in the programming, calibration, diagnosis, and troubleshooting of PLCs, as well as in technical support and fulfillment of deliverables associated with automation projects.
Main responsibilities
- Design, develop, and optimize automated systems for the control of production processes, ensuring their efficiency, reliability, and operational continuity.
- Program, configure, calibrate, and diagnose industrial control systems, mainly PLCs and associated equipment.
- Diagnose and solve technical failures in automation systems in a timely and effective manner, minimizing downtime and impacts on productivity.
- Provide technical support to engineering, maintenance, and production teams on topics related to automation and control.
- Collaborate with Engineering and Production teams to identify improvement opportunities and implement technological solutions that increase process efficiency.
- Participate in the integration, installation, configuration, and commissioning of new equipment and automated systems.
- Follow up on preventive and corrective maintenance of automation systems, ensuring their correct operation.
- Prepare and keep updated technical documentation, reports, and deliverables corresponding to the projects.
- Participate in the execution and monitoring of automation projects, ensuring compliance with technical requirements, timelines, and established deliverables.
- Train operational and technical personnel in the proper, safe, and efficient use of automation systems.
- Comply with and promote the safety, quality, and operation procedures and standards established by the company.
Requirements
- Engineering in Control, Automation, Mechatronics, Electronics, Electrical, or related field.
- Experience in programming and diagnosis of PLCs and industrial control systems.
- Knowledge in process automation and equipment commissioning.
- Availability to attend to technical requirements and activities related to automation projects.
- Conversational English
- Minimum 2 years of experience
- Electrical, Pneumatic, and Hydraulic knowledge
