Job Summary
You will be responsible for delivering the French curriculum effectively, ensuring pupil progress, and maintaining high teaching standards aligned with the school’s timetable and educational goals.
Responsibilities
- Deliver the French curriculum according to the school’s timetable to ensure consistent student learning
- Update teaching methods by integrating current curriculum developments and effective pedagogical practices
- Develop and apply ICT tools to enhance teaching effectiveness and student engagement
- Apply professional skills and judgement to adapt teaching strategies to diverse student needs
- Monitor and support the educational progress of all pupils through targeted instruction
- Collaborate with colleagues to align curriculum delivery with individual student learning requirements
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student assessments and provide constructive feedback
Required competencies and certifications
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification
- Possess a degree or equivalent qualification in French or a related subject
- Demonstrate a proven track record of outstanding teaching performance
- Have at least 5 years of teaching experience
- Show experience and familiarity with International Education systems
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Experience teaching IGCSE curriculum
- Experience teaching in both Primary and Secondary school sections
- Evidence of relevant in-service training
