Project Controller (m/f/x)

SINGULUS TECHNOLOGIES AG, a leading company in the field of special plant engineering, is looking for a dedicated Project Controller (m/f/x) for our team in Kahl am Main.

In this role, you will be responsible within the Finance team for the ongoing monitoring of demanding (large-scale) projects. Your analyses and reports will prepare decisions and measures for management.

Your Tasks

• Creation and maintenance of project budgets, forecasts, and profitability calculations
• Support in financial project planning and resource planning
• Participation in quotation calculations and Business Cases
• Ongoing monitoring of project costs, revenues, and margins
• Analysis of plan-actual variances as well as initiation of corrective measures
• Creation of regular project status reports and management reports
• Development of meaningful dashboards and reports
• Preparation of decision-making bases for project managers, department heads, and management
• Identification and assessment of financial as well as operational project risks
• Further development of controlling instruments, methods, and standards
• Optimization of project controlling processes and reporting structures
• Participation in digitalization and automation initiatives

Your Profile

• Successfully completed studies in Business Administration, Economics, Industrial Engineering, or a comparable qualification
• Several years of professional experience in project controlling, financial controlling, or project management
• Very good knowledge of budgeting, POC, forecasting, and cost accounting
• Confident handling of SAP and MS Excel
• Good knowledge of (project) controlling in mechanical engineering or special plant engineering
• Strong analytical and conceptual skills
• High affinity for numbers and attention to detail
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Independent, structured, and solution-oriented way of working
• Ability to work in a team and assertiveness
• High level of initiative and sense of responsibility
• Good written and spoken English skills
