ACCOUNTING MANAGER

B2B Company – Industrial Sector | Puerto Montt

We are looking for an Accounting Manager with a solid professional track record to take on a key role within a B2B company in the industrial sector that is undergoing a significant stage of expansion and consolidation.

The position represents an especially attractive challenge for a professional with high technical accounting mastery, accustomed to operating in organizations of greater complexity, who enjoys being directly involved in management and has the capacity to organize, strengthen, and improve processes while accompanying the growth of the business.

The challenge

The person who joins will have an active role in strengthening accounting and financial management, ensuring reliable, timely, and consistent processes aligned with the needs of a growing organization.

Among their main challenges will be:

• Leading and executing monthly accounting closings, ensuring the quality and consistency of information.
• Preparing and analyzing balances, financial statements, and accounting information for decision-making.
• Strengthening controls and procedures, identifying opportunities for improvement and reducing operational risks and errors.
• Leading and coordinating external audit processes, maintaining a fluid relationship with auditors and advisors.
• Ensuring the proper treatment and control of fixed assets, investments, and projects, including matters related to CAPEX and OPEX.
• Actively participating in the financial planning and control of projects.
• Supporting the preparation of financial and accounting information for executive and board meetings.
• Maintaining interaction with banks and other relevant financial actors.
• Participating in initiatives for improvement, automation, and standardization of processes.
• Getting directly involved in the accounting operation, combining leadership capacity with a markedly hands on orientation.

What profile are we looking for?

A professional with a very good technical base and the ability to operate autonomously in demanding and transformative contexts.

Main requirements:

• Degree in Contador/a Auditor/a – mandatory requirement.
• At least 10 years of professional experience.
• Relevant experience in medium or large companies, ideally B2B, industrial, industrial services, engineering, construction, infrastructure, or other project-intensive environments.
• A career path ideally combining experience in auditing and subsequently in corporate accounting areas.
• Solid mastery of balances, monthly closings, financial statements, and accounting and tax regulations.
• Experience working with projects and fixed assets, and knowledge of CAPEX/OPEX.
• Experience participating in and leading audit processes.
• Proficiency in ERP and advanced Excel.
• Intermediate-advanced English, with the ability to communicate verbally.
• Ability to analyze processes, detect gaps, and implement concrete improvements.
