Engineering and Operations Manager - Puerto Montt

Chilean engineering company, with more than 10 years of experience, a leader in the development of its own patented technology, with clients and projects expanding internationally (North America, Middle East, and Europe), is looking to incorporate an Engineering and Operations Manager into its team. Work location: Los Lagos Region, southern Chile, with availability to travel nationally and internationally.

Job Objective To lead the validation and development of engineering calculations for the company's own patented systems, and to strengthen Operations management (planning, reports, and indicators), while also acting as a senior technical counterpart for national and international clients.

Main Functions

• Validate and develop engineering calculations for the company's patented systems, ensuring their performance under real operating conditions.
• Drive the development of new applications derived from the company's own technology.
• Strengthen Operations management: planning, monitoring progress reports, and analyzing management indicators.
• Act as a senior technical counterpart for national and international clients.
• Coordinate the relationship between Engineering and Operations for the correct execution of projects and assemblies.
• Accompany the General Management in commercial and technical instances with clients.

Requirements

• Mechanical Engineer (preferred profile); Naval Engineer or Industrial Civil Engineer will also be considered.
• Proven experience participating directly in engineering calculations (not just in management or supervision roles).
• Advanced English, spoken and written (mandatory).
• Experience leading technical teams and participating in the development of proprietary or patented engineering.
• Desirable experience in technically demanding industries (mining, maritime/naval, or other related fields).
• Knowledge of project management, planning, and performance indicators.
