Employment type Full-time and part-time positions on a one-year contract Contract period Mid-November 2026 to mid-November 2027; exact dates to be agreed Location Singlapa pop-up, Changi Airport Terminal 1, Singapore Reports to Store Manager About Singlapa Founded in Singapore in 2022, Singlapa celebrates heritage, culture and place through original hand-painted watercolour artwork. We bring these stories into everyday life through homeware, textiles, accessories and gifts, creating pieces that customers take home and share around the world. Your role You will represent Singlapa to an international audience, combining warm service with confident product recommendations. You will help customers find meaningful purchases, contribute to sales targets and keep the store welcoming, well presented and running smoothly. Key responsibilities

• Welcome customers, understand their needs and recommend suitable gifts, products and complementary items within their budget.
• Share the stories behind our artwork and explain product materials, care instructions and available Changi exclusives accurately.
• Work towards individual and team KPIs while providing attentive, honest service, including to travellers with limited time.
• Process purchases and approved promotions accurately using the point-of-sale system and airport payment platforms; wrap and pack purchases with care.
• Maintain attractive displays, accurate price labels and a clean, organised selling area in line with Singlapa’s visual standards.
• Receive and replenish stock, assist with inventory counts and report shortages, discrepancies or damaged items promptly.
• Complete assigned opening, closing, cash reconciliation and shift handover duties; follow airport security and emergency procedures.
• Handle customer questions and concerns professionally, escalate issues when needed and share useful customer feedback with the Store Manager.

Working hours and shifts The T1 operating plan provides for trading from 6.00 am to midnight daily, including weekends and public holidays. The proposed shift windows are: Shift Proposed timing Morning 6.00 am to 3.00 pm

Afternoon and evening 2.00 pm to 12.00 midnight or 3.00 pm to 12.00 midnight

Shift windows include scheduled breaks. Actual hours, break arrangements, weekly working days and rest days will be set out in the agreed roster. Opening and closing tasks will be included in scheduled working time. Full-time staff will work rotating shifts. Applicants should state their availability for early starts, late finishes, weekends and public holidays. What we are looking for

• A warm, approachable manner, reliability and a genuine interest in customer service, art, design or cultural storytelling.
• Clear spoken English for serving international travellers; additional languages are an advantage.
• Retail, hospitality or customer service experience is preferred. Applicants who are keen to learn are welcome.
• Confidence handling payments, attention to detail and the ability to stay calm during busy periods.
• Comfort working on the shop floor, assisting with routine stock handling and contributing as part of a small team.
• Availability from mid-November 2026 for a one-year contract and the ability to complete any required airport training and access procedures.

Remuneration and training The proposed full-time salary is S$2,000 toS$2,500 per month, subject to final confirmation. Training will cover Singlapa’s collections, customer service, sales, payment systems, store procedures and required airport training. Include your earliest start date.
