Job Responsibilities
- Assist with food preparation, including washing, cutting, portioning and cooking of ingredients
- Support cooking using ovens and pots according to recipes and SOP standards
- Assemble and prepare salad bowls during serving hours
- Handle cashiering duties and serve customers politely and efficiently over the counter
- Maintain cleanliness and food hygiene standards in the kitchen and salad bar
- Keep ingredients and food items properly stocked and organised
- Assist with daily kitchen salad bar operations
- Support and guide team members during operations
- Assist with opening and closing duties
Job Requirements
- Flexible shifts available (8–12 hours per day)
- 5-day or 6-day work week options available
- Weekend work must be able to work
- Prior kitchen or food preparation experience is an advantage
- 1 year of kitchen/food preparation experience preferred
- Experience in a salad bar, grill bar or similar F&B concept is an advantage
- Positive, energetic and has a can-do attitude
- Comfortable with an active, hands-on role involving standing and moving around during shifts
- Able to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team
- Basic understanding of food safety and hygiene practices
- WSQ Food Hygiene Certificate Level 1 preferred
- Strong leadership or supervisory experience is an advantage for the Supervisor role
