Your tasks

The IT Software Executive is responsible for designing, developing, maintaining, and enhancing secure software applications and automated workflows across the organization.

The role combines secure application development, cloud infrastructure operations (AWS/DevOps), application lifecycle management, and artificial intelligence integration.

The IT Software Executive will play a pivotal role in modernizing internal software systems, implementing robust software patching cycles, standardizing Al workflows, and ensuring all digital solutions adhere to international cybersecurity standards such as the NIST Cybersecurity Framework.

_Software Development & Secure Coding:_

  1. Design, write, test, and deploy high-quality software applications adhering strictly to Secure Coding standards and OWASP best practices.
  2. Conduct application patching cycles and updates to resolve software vulnerabilities, maintain dependency trees, and prevent downtime.
  3. Perform regular static and dynamic code analysis to identify, remediate, and document technical debt and security flaws.
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional departments to translate operational requirements into technical application architectures.
  5. Maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including API definitions, database schemas, and architectural designs.

_Cloud Infrastructure & DevOps:_

  1. Navigate, run, and optimize cloud infrastructure and hosting environments on Amazon Web Services (AWS).
  2. Build and support Continuous Integration / Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines to streamline software deployments.
  3. Monitor AWS cloud system health, server log activity, auto-scaling performance, and operational uptime.
  4. Manage environment configurations across development, staging, and production environments securely.

_Al Integration & Process Automation:_

  1. Leverage Al tools, including Claude Code and advanced LLM frameworks, to build intelligent workflows and practical software agents.
  2. Automate internal software operations, data processing tasks, and routine administrative workflows to improve organizational efficiency.
  3. Monitor, optimize, and maintain Al agents to ensure output consistency, security, and alignment with organizational needs.

_Cybersecurity & Governance:_

  1. Implement cybersecurity best practices within software development lifecycle (SDLC) based on frameworks like the NIST Cybersecurity Framework.
  2. Conduct regular reviews of application access logs and infrastructure configurations to detect and mitigate cyber threats.
  3. Assist in enforcing corporate IT policies, drafting technical info pamphlets for staff, and publishing software security advisories.
  4. Maintain accurate software licensing, asset inventories, API keys, and End of Support (EOS) roadmaps.
  5. Adherence with PDPA and AI Governance Framework

Requirements

_Qualifications and Experience:_

  1. Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
  2. At least 2-4 years of practical experience in secure software development, cloud operations, or DevOps roles.
  3. Demonstrated hands-on experience in navigating and managing cloud infrastructure on Amazon Web Services (AWS).
  4. Proven track record with software application architecture design and application patching lifecycles.
  5. Strong familiarity with Claude Code (or other AI tools), prompt engineering, or designing functional Al workflows and autonomous agents.
  6. Solid working knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks (e.g., NIST Cybersecurity Framework, OWASP Top 10).

_Additional Skills and Knowledge:_

  1. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with a proactive approach to software design and bug mitigation.
  2. Proficiency in secure programming languages (e.g., Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, Go, or Node.js).
  3. Solid understanding of containerization (e.g., Docker) and serverless cloud architectures.
  4. Detail-oriented and highly organized in maintaining system documentation and code repositories (Git).
  5. Adaptable and flexible to respond on-the-fly to emerging security threats or server issues.
  6. Strong communication skills to interact effectively with both technical teams and non-technical staff.
  7. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while collaborating constructively within cross-functional teams.
  8. Able to review existing infrastructure and workflows, and propose improvements or design cost-efficient solutions.
