You will partly undertake the requirements analysis for military and civil Flight Management Systems (FMS) and flight guidance. In addition, you are responsible for the design and development of FMS functions. This includes the development, adaptation, and maintenance of our software code, including verification and validation measures. The following tasks await you:

• Requirements analysis for military and civil Flight Management Systems (FMS) and flight guidance
• Design and development of FMS functions
• Design and development of flight guidance functions and trajectory calculation
• Design and development of formation flight and swarm flight functions
• Definition and control of verification and validation measures

What we are looking for:

• A completed degree in Aerospace or a comparable qualification
• Professional experience in the fields of IT / information systems, aerospace, UAVs (Unmanned Aerial Vehicles) / RPAS (Remotely Piloted Aircraft Systems)
• Strong teamwork skills as well as a high degree of motivation
• Business fluent English skills
• Tools: Python, C++, IsaacSim, ROS2
