You will partly be responsible for defining the requirements for subsystems and monitoring their implementation. Additionally, you will be responsible for managing suppliers (to ensure that the offered solutions meet the requirements). The following tasks await you:

• Define requirements for subsystems and monitor their implementation
• Manage suppliers (to ensure that the offered solutions meet the requirements)
• Participate in cross-departmental organizational activities (Safety, Certification, RAMT, etc.)
• Contribute to the creation of the overall equipment list
• Coordinate requirements and designs with other architects of the segment or functional chain as well as other engineering disciplines and partner companies (merging of physical budgets, design criteria, and general GCS performance)
• Support the program line through technical assessments (if required)
• Support IV activities
• Maintain contact with the customer to clarify operational expectations and requirements

We desire:

• A completed degree in the fields of Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Aerospace, or a comparable qualification
• Professional experience and knowledge in the areas of work processes in a military environment, Engineering, IT / Information Systems, Aerospace, Project Management, standards in the field of Systems Engineering, as well as System and Software Development in aviation
• Strong teamwork skills as well as the ability to present and document complex issues clearly
• Business fluent English skills
• Tools: DOORS, Simulink, SCADE, ICDMS
