The following tasks await you:

  • Management of approvals as a design organization (DOA): Maintaining existing, obtaining new, and expanding existing approvals (including new privileges and/or products)
  • Interface to aviation authorities: Central contact person for authorities in all DOA-related matters
  • Demonstration of compliance: Support in demonstrating the compliance of the design organization's manuals to the authorities as well as management of changes to these manuals
  • Ensuring the Design Assurance System: Ensuring that compliance checklists are created and maintained according to system specifications and, together with procedures, methods, and tools, prove compliance with applicable regulations
  • Procedure management: Ensuring that the approved basis of the DOA procedures is correct and available for the organization for each approval
  • Negotiation: Leading coordination with aviation authorities for the approval of processes and procedures, particularly regarding airworthiness, environmental protection, and operational suitability data (OSD)
  • Supplier control: Supporting the Design Supplier Control Manager (DSCM) in defining requirements for DOA suppliers as well as in their qualification and monitoring
