You will be partly responsible for participating in procurement activities, leading tenders, and conducting contract negotiations. Furthermore, you will assist in monitoring contracts (during the innovation, development, series, and support phases) together with suppliers and company stakeholders. The following tasks await you:
- Participation in procurement activities, leading tenders and contract negotiations to achieve the best purchasing conditions in accordance with company requirements (internal – external)
- Monitoring of the contract (during the innovation, development, series, and support phases) together with suppliers and company stakeholders to ensure full implementation of contract terms throughout the entire contract lifecycle and to guarantee that suppliers deliver the expected performance in all areas (logistics, support, quality, costs)
- Maintaining daily relationships with suppliers and leading ongoing projects to optimize customer benefit while simultaneously minimizing total cost of ownership and risks
What we are looking for:
- A completed degree in the field of Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, International Management, or a comparable qualification
- Professional experience in the areas of procurement, supplier management, Supply Chain / Logistics, as well as contract management
- Willingness to travel (1–2 times per year, predominantly Europe, potentially worldwide)
- Business fluent English skills, German is advantageous
- Tools: MS-Excel, MS-Word, SAP, Google Workspace
