You will sometimes take over the definition, execution, and evaluation of acoustic and vibration tests: in flight, on the ground, and in the laboratory. In addition, you will provide support in the qualification of aircraft systems regarding mechanical loads, including vibrations, shocks, and acoustics. The following tasks await you:

• Definition, execution, and evaluation of acoustic and vibration tests: in flight, on the ground, and in the laboratory
• Support in the qualification of aircraft systems regarding mechanical loads, including vibrations, shocks, and acoustics
• Determination of mechanical requirements for the installation of systems in aircraft
• Evaluation of experimental results based on qualification tests
• Development of passive and active solutions for noise and vibration damping for existing and future aircraft
• Development and validation of numerical models related to the generation, propagation, and transmission of noise as well as the structural dynamic behavior under acoustic and vibration loads
• Development and support of competitive, innovative, mature, and safe aircraft that meet legal requirements, customer expectations, and business challenges related to noise and vibrations

What we are looking for:

• A completed degree in Aerospace or a comparable qualification
• Professional experience in the fields of aerospace engineering, acoustics and vibration technology, dynamic structural testing, data acquisition, data processing and analysis, definition of vibration environments, vibration qualification processes, as well as modal analysis and testing
• Strong teamwork skills as well as a problem-solving oriented and independent way of working
• Willingness to travel (once per quarter for one week)
• Business fluent English skills
• Tools: MS-Office, Linux, Matlab
