Advanced Practice Provider -Dermatology

SimonMed is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider to join our outpatient clinical team in a new and evolving role! This clinic will utilize advanced medical technology and diagnostic tools designed to evaluate a variety of markers related to general health, wellness, and disease risk. We are looking for a provider who is excited to work at the intersection of clinical medicine, innovative technology, and personalized patient care.

The APP will conduct both in-person and virtual consultations, helping patients understand and interpret their results, discuss relevant health considerations, and develop appropriate next steps in collaboration with the clinical team.

Responsibilities:

Schedule: M-F 8a-5p EST onsite

Conduct in-person and virtual patient consultations.

Review and explain advanced diagnostic and health assessment results in a clear, patient-centered manner.

Identify relevant health and wellness considerations based on patient history, clinical information, and available results.

Provide education regarding preventive health, wellness, and risk factors.

Apply a dermatology background and clinical expertise to patient care when appropriate.

Collaborate with physicians and other members of the clinical team.

Maintain accurate and thorough clinical documentation.

Stay current on emerging technologies, diagnostics, and developments in preventive and personalized medicine.

Help create a thoughtful, high-touch patient experience both in the clinic and virtually.

Qualifications:

Current NP or PA license and certification in NY

Clinical background and experience in dermatology strongly preferred

Strong clinical judgment and communication skills

Comfortable reviewing and discussing medical data and diagnostic results

Interest in emerging medical technologies, preventive medicine, and personalized health

Comfortable providing both in-person and virtual care

Professional, personable, and patient-focused approach

Interest in working in an innovative, evolving clinical environment

The Ideal Candidate:

The ideal candidate is a clinically strong APP who is curious, adaptable, and enjoys working directly with patients, interpreting health information, and helping people better understand their health.

You are interested in moving beyond traditional, reactive healthcare and exploring how advanced technology and data can support earlier identification of health considerations and more personalized approaches to wellness.
