Housekeeper

Location: Birmingham B19 Job Type: Temporary Duration: 4 weeks Dates: 7th September – 1st October 2026 Days: Monday to Friday, including weekend cover on 12th and 13th September Hours: 8.00am – 3.30pm, 35 hours per week Pay: £12.71 per hour

Overview

We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Housekeeper to join the team at Globe Works on a 4-week temporary assignment. You will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness throughout the property, ensuring communal areas and accommodation are clean, tidy and welcoming for residents.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

• Cleaning communal areas, corridors, stairwells and shared facilities.
• Cleaning bedrooms, kitchens and bathrooms as required.
• Vacuuming, mopping, dusting and sanitising surfaces.
• Emptying bins and disposing of waste appropriately.
• Replenishing cleaning products and consumables.
• Reporting any maintenance issues or damage to the site team.
• Ensuring cleaning equipment is used safely and stored correctly.
• Maintaining excellent standards of cleanliness throughout the property.
• Supporting the wider site team during busy periods.

Skills & Experience

• Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred.
• Reliable, punctual and able to work independently.
• Good attention to detail.
• Able to work efficiently and maintain high cleaning standards.
• Comfortable working in a busy residential environment.
• Must be available to work Saturday 12th and Sunday 13th September.
