Data Center Specialist

Working at Simac ICT Belgium: that means the security of an international group with the culture of a family business. For our expertise center in Heverlee (Belgium), we are looking for a Data Center Specialist.

This is what you will do

• You ensure the handling of incidents and alarms in our customers' data centers.
• You ensure the installation of new IT equipment (racks, switches, servers) and the removal of outdated equipment.
• You handle customer change requests and manage the necessary backups.
• You perform the physical racking and patching of hardware.
• You document and label the cabling and data center equipment.
• You are in close contact with the Project Managers to guarantee the optimal operation and high availability of the data center.

This is you

• Bachelor in computer science or equivalent experience.
• You have a passion for IT.
• You have experience in general IT infrastructure management.
• You are eager to learn and customer-friendly.
• You have a strong focus on customer service and a proactive attitude.
• You enjoy working in a team.
• You speak fluent French and have practical knowledge of English.
• You are flexible and willing to work between 7am and 7pm.
