- Assist WSHEO in Implementing IMS onsite.
- Check on the sub-contractors’ work to ensure that they comply with the WSHE regulations & requirements.
- Conduct daily WSHE inspection and rectify/correct any unsafe conditions and unsafe practices immediately.
- Attend all WSHE meetings, inspections and ensure that the site is maintained in good condition.
- Ensure that Daily Toolbox Meetings are conducted by respective contractors and staff and to be documented.
- To verify all workers and staff have attended relevant WSHE training courses.
- Educate the workers about the proper usage of PPE.
- To verify documents of the lifting equipment, electrical equipment testing/calibration reports.
- Coordinate with the Client’s Representatives on WSHE matters.
- Issuance of EHS Infringement Notices against the WSHE violations and non-compliances.
- Facilitate the Monthly Site WSHE Committee Inspection and meeting.
- Assist WSHEO in the accident investigation and report preparation.
- Assist WSHEO in organizing Monthly WSHE Promotion.
- Check and ensure the availability of first aid boxes, fire-fighting equipment and AED. And, to follow up on the servicing and maintenance.
- Ensure that emergency evacuation and escape route are being communicated to all stakeholders on site.
- Ensure that WSHE filling system is well maintained and controlled.
- Any other duties as instructed by your reporting officers.
- As an Assessor for the daily Permit-To-Work submissions via e-PTW app or physical documentation for high-risk activities.
