Project Executive
Industry: Construction / Building & Fit-Out Works
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Project Manager in the overall planning, coordination, and execution of construction projects.
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, architects, subcontractors, suppliers, and site teams.
- Monitor project progress and ensure works are carried out according to approved drawings, specifications, and schedules.
- Assist in preparing project schedules, progress reports, site reports, and other project documentation.
- Coordinate and follow up on material submissions, shop drawings, samples, method statements, and technical submissions.
- Attend site meetings, coordination meetings, and inspections when required.
- Monitor subcontractors' work progress and coordinate site activities to minimise delays and clashes.
- Assist in identifying project issues, delays, and potential risks, and follow up on appropriate solutions.
- Coordinate with the relevant parties on site access, deliveries, manpower, and work sequencing.
- Assist with quotation, variation order, progress claim, and project cost-related matters.
- Ensure proper documentation and records are maintained throughout the project.
- Liaise with the relevant authorities, consultants, and stakeholders where required.
- Ensure that site works comply with applicable safety, quality, and project requirements.
- Perform other project-related duties as assigned by the Project Manager or Management.
Requirements
- Relevant experience in the construction, renovation, fit-out, or building industry will be an advantage.
- Good organisational, coordination, and time-management skills.
- Able to communicate effectively with clients, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams.
- Able to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong problem-solving and follow-up skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
- Knowledge of construction drawings, project documentation, and site coordination will be an advantage.
- Willing to travel between project sites when required.
