**Monday to Friday, no weekends position***
Silver Fox Pharmacy in London is looking for a positive-thinking, accurate and dedicated Registered Pharmacy Technician to join our dynamic team! We are not open evenings, weekends or statutory holidays!!
_*The ideal candidate must possess a positive team spirit.*_
*Responsibilities Include:*
- Work with all members of the pharmacy team to ensure medication orders are dispensed accurately and safely
- Release prescription products after accuracy has been ensured and entire prescription has been evaluated and reviewed by a pharmacist for therapeutic appropriateness
- Ensure proper documentation of health information
- Maintains accurate, organized and complete resident health records ensuring appropriate documentation of health information
- Follows all provincial and federal laws, standards and regulations which govern the practice of pharmacy at all time
- Participates in ongoing continuing education, remaining current in pharmaceutical, medical and professional licensing information
- Prepare and compound medications when required
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
*Qualifications/Experience:*
- *Registration and in good standing with the Ontario College of Pharmacists (RPhT)*
- Ability to establish strong partnerships with other members of the health care team
- Effective organization and time management skills
- Knowledge of Kroll Windows and experience with eMAR an asset
- Previous Long Term Care pharmacy experience an asset
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $58,000.00-$67,000.00 per year
