Silver Birch Resort's own lakeside restaurant focuses on high-quality food, pure natural flavors, and local ingredients. The kitchen combines traditional Lappish food culture with a modern approach. The menu is built around the best seasonal ingredients. We are now looking for a skilled ala carte chef for our client in Rovaniemi for the winter season 2026-2027!

In your duties, you will be responsible for preparing delicious dinners and breakfasts for guests in a stunning restaurant, utilizing the nature of Lapland and local ingredients. Your tasks also include food preparation and other kitchen duties. We are looking for a person for this position who can function well as a team member and, if necessary, also manage kitchen operations independently. We hope the applicant has strong previous work experience in ala carte chef roles and high-quality kitchen work. Hours are available from 1.2.2026-28.2.2027, ranging from 90h-112.5h/3 weeks. If you wish, you can also take shifts during November and March. There are no guaranteed hours for those periods. In the terms of employment, we follow the collective agreement for tourism, catering, and leisure services; pay is according to skills and experience. Accommodation can be arranged near the Rovaniemi city center for a reasonable rent.

• Education and/or strong previous work experience in ala carte chef roles
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills

• Good ability to work under pressure
• Fluent English skills; the work team and customers are international

• Flexibility to work morning shifts and on weekends
• A hygiene passport or readiness to obtain one at the start of employment

• A valid B-driver's license is considered an advantage

Salary
