Industrialization Manager - Aeronautical Mechanical Components (M/F)

JOB DESCRIPTION

The position:

Reporting to the Operations Director, you will lead the Methods & Process department composed of 4 engineers and 1 technician. Acting as the true link between the design office and production, you guarantee that newly designed products can be manufactured in series under the best cost, quality, and deadline conditions. You are also the focal point for costing and the legitimate technical referent for both the design office and production.

• Your missions are as follows:
• Manage and develop the skills of your team of 5 people; distribute projects, monitor progress, and define priorities
• Lead the industrialization of new products: definition of manufacturing processes, choice of production means, optimization of routings, and capacity analysis
• Challenge the design office on industrial feasibility and serve as the focal point for the costing of new projects
• Lead the continuous improvement of existing processes: SMED, reduction of cycle times, improvement of flows and productivity
• Guarantee compliance with aeronautical quality standards (EN9100/AS9100) and ensure process traceability

REQUIRED PROFILE

• Master's degree (Bac+5) in mechanical engineering, industrialization, or industrial engineering
• 5 years of experience in mechanical industrialization with team management, coming from the aeronautics or automotive sectors; mastery of machining and EN9100 standards is indispensable
• Professional English required for exchanges with international sites, customers, and suppliers; mastery of SolidWorks and Clipper is appreciated
