Lead Computer Vision - Drone Mapping (M/F)

JOB DESCRIPTION

Reporting to the General Manager, you will join a team composed of a Software department: 2 Research Engineers and 1 Data Scientist, as well as a Hardware department: 2 embedded software engineers, 1 FPGA engineer, 1 optronics technician, and 1 project manager.

• The main missions are:
• Define and plan research projects and roadmaps in accordance with the company's strategy.
• Coordinate the team of engineers specialized in Deep Learning and signal processing.
• Define and supervise the design of multi-sensor data processing algorithms (lidar and camera) allowing for the improvement of mapping, SLAM, and orthomosaic generation functionalities.
• Optimize algorithm performance in C++ and Python.
• Guarantee the quality of deliverables and compliance with deadlines.
• Develop academic and industrial partnerships.
• Monitor and optimize key performance indicators for R&D projects.

Technological environment: C++, Python, Computer vision, 3D geometry.

REQUIRED PROFILE

• You have a minimum of 8 years of experience as a Computer Vision engineer. (Excluding internships and work-study programs)
• Mastery of C++ and Python languages for the design of image processing algorithms is mandatory.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Tech Lead (excluding hierarchical management) is mandatory.
• In the context of exchanges with English-speaking clients and collaborators, you know how to speak English.
