Mechanical Design Office Project Manager - Special Purpose Machinery (M/F)

JOB DESCRIPTION

Reporting to the Mechanical Design Office Manager, you will join a team composed of 7 mechanical designers (engineers, drafters). You will operate 50% on managing design projects within the Design Office, and 50% on mechanical CAD of machines/processes.

• You will work on the following projects:
• Supporting clients in defining their needs regarding machine/process specificities
• Coordination of development projects: cost management, participation in roadmap development, definition of deadlines
• Steering internal teams (mechanical designers) by writing technical project specifications
• Mechanical CAD of projects/machines on SolidWorks
• Implementation of continuous improvement processes and project methodology

Technical environment: SolidWorks, CAO, Machines spéciales, Autocad, Fanuc, Siemens, Schneider

REQUIRED PROFILE

• You have a minimum of 3 years of experience (excluding apprenticeships) in mechanical design within the industrial machinery sector
• You have already managed technical projects (cost, quality, deadline .)
• Your level of English allows you to communicate with international clients and suppliers

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

• Location: Quimper
• Contract: CDI
• Salary: 40 to 50K€ depending on profile
• Profit-sharing bonus & meal vouchers: up to 5K€
