Role Description The Digital Contributor and Reviewer is a part-time remote role focused on supporting digital content, learning materials, and SME-facing solutions across Silicon Shaman Innovations’ core pillars. In this role, the contributor will help create, refine, and review digital resources such as course content, guides, micro-lessons, and platform copy to ensure clarity, accuracy, and alignment with learning outcomes. Day-to-day tasks include reviewing digital media, documentation, and product content for consistency and quality, providing structured feedback to instructors, product teams, and SMEs, and suggesting improvements to user experience and knowledge flow. The role also involves collaborating with educators, technologists, and business partners to test materials, validate instructions, and ensure that digital outputs are practical, accessible, and relevant for African learners, professionals, and startups. The contributor will participate in periodic remote meetings, track assigned tasks, and maintain documentation to support continuous improvement of Silicon Shaman’s digital and educational offerings.

Qualifications

Strong digital literacy and familiarity with online learning platforms, documentation tools, and content management systems. Ability to review and refine educational or instructional content for clarity, structure, and learner accessibility. Experience collaborating remotely with cross-functional teams, including educators, technologists, and SMEs. Excellent written communication skills and attention to detail in reviewing and annotating materials. Understanding of or interest in Africa’s digital and technology ecosystem, startup environments, or SME-focused solutions. Capacity to manage part-time workloads, meet deadlines, and maintain organized records of reviews and feedback. Background in education, digital media, technology, or a related field is beneficial but not mandatory. Prior experience in quality assurance, content review, curriculum support, or user experience feedback is an advantage.
