The municipality of Siilinjärvi is seeking an Invest In Specialist to develop the municipality's investment readiness, location services, and the productization of business areas. The position offers an exceptional opportunity to influence how Siilinjärvi prepares for future business and industrial investments.

The position will be filled as part of the Green Industrial Villages - Kehyskuntien investointivalmius Itä-Suomessa -project, which develops new operating models to promote green transition and other industrial investments. The main implementer of the project is Kontionloikka Oy, and the co-implementers are, in addition to the municipality of Siilinjärvi, Liperi, Lapinlahti, Leppävirta, and Paltamo. The position will be filled if the project receives a positive funding decision.

In Siilinjärvi, the goal of the project is to build the municipality's first systematic Invest In operating model, strengthen location services, and productize investment targets as part of a shared supra-regional investment target portfolio. A particular development target in the project is the Radantus area and its potential for green transition business and industrial investments.

As an Invest In Specialist, you will play a key role in developing the municipality's investment readiness. The role combines business development, regional development, investment preparation, networking, and strengthening the vitality of municipalities.

Your tasks include: mapping and developing the current state of the municipality's investment readiness productizing investment areas and location targets for investors investigating the investment potential and development opportunities of the Radantus area developing location services and the investor service journey preparing investor materials and investment presentations identifying investment opportunities and building an investment pipeline cooperation with companies, landowners, development companies, municipalities, and other stakeholders participating in supra-regional Invest In networking project reporting, communication, and other tasks related to the implementation of the project

Qualification requirements The qualification requirement is a suitable higher education degree.
