WHO SHOULD JOIN?

TYPICAL ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Define and execute product strategy, roadmap, and prioritization frameworks
- Drive end-to-end product development from ideation to launch, ensuring high-quality execution
- Partner with engineering, design, and go-to-market teams to align product vision with business goals
- Use data, user research, and competitive analysis to drive informed product decisions
- Own KPIs and success metrics, optimizing for engagement, retention, and revenue growth
- Develop and implement A/B testing, experimentation, and continuous iteration processes
- Act as a thought leader within the company, mentoring junior PMs and influencing company-wide strategy
- Collaborate with founders and executives on long-term product vision and expansion opportunities
COMMON QUALIFICATIONS
While each startup has its own hiring criteria, many staff product manager roles in our network look for:
- 5+ years of experience in product management, preferably in a fast-paced startup environment
- Strong track record of leading and delivering successful products in B2B, B2C, or SaaS
- Expertise in roadmap ownership, feature prioritization, and product execution methodologies
- Strong analytical mindset, with experience using SQL, Looker, Tableau, Amplitude, Mixpanel, or Google Analytics
- Deep understanding of UX/UI principles, user research, and design thinking
- Experience working with agile development methodologies and cross-functional teams
- Proven ability to mentor and lead product teams while staying hands-on in execution
- Experience in AI, fintech, marketplaces, developer tools, or SaaS is a plus
