Do you enjoy the challenge of describing complex technical products in a clear and concise manner? Can you analyze and develop the content and structure of technical information for better readability and understanding? Then you might be our new technical writer for our Stockholm team. Consulting assignments are sometimes at our office and mostly at our customers', therefore travel in the local area is a part of everyday life.
With us, technical documentation is in focus. We are today approximately 250 employees in Sweden who help our customers improve their messaging with text, images, animations, and the latest technology within AR/VR. We often collaborate in customer projects with our Sigma colleagues in China, Hungary, and USA. Together, we create world-class documentation!
Qualifications To succeed in the role of technical writer, it is important that you have the ability to express yourself in English, both spoken and written. Good knowledge of the Swedish language is an advantage but not a requirement for the position. We would prefer that you have an academic degree in electronics, IT/Telecom, mechanical engineering, mechanics, or equivalent.
You have at least one year of experience working with the maintenance/creation of, for example, installation, service, and maintenance manuals and/or training materials. In our assignments, we often work with documentation of both hardware and software. It is an advantage if you have experience working with some XML-based CMS or other documentation tools, e.g., FrameMaker. Experience with some illustration and/or CAD tools is meritorious. We are looking for both junior and senior employees.
