Now, on behalf of Scania, we are looking for a Solution Architect who thrives closest to the technology. You will work with advanced systems that optimize and automate the vehicle's maintenance plans to drastically increase efficiency and improve truck service based on how and where the vehicle is used.

YOUR DAILY LIFE

As a Solution Architect at Scania, you will have a daily life filled with challenges and contribute to the innovative, IT-driven transport solutions of the future. You will get to work with cutting-edge technologies, with exciting products alongside competent and driven colleagues in a diversified and multicultural environment.

As a code-proximate Solution Architect, you will alternate between "here and now" tasks and tasks of a more strategic nature. You will promote discussions, develop and assess the quality of various solutions, and operate application-independently in an environment with both .NET and Java, where a major migration to the cloud (AWS) is currently taking place. From an architectural perspective, you will work on implementing new functionality in existing solutions as well as integrating with a range of other systems in a complex environment. You are active in forums related to your area. Process-wise, there is capacity and structure to enable delivery without having to get stuck in a cumbersome process.

WHO ARE YOU?

• You are either an experienced developer who has previously been involved in design issues;
• or you have previously worked with some type of architecture with a good understanding of code.

• you appreciate working with both the business side and the technical side and bridge the two to achieve the best results.
• it is meritorious if you have previously participated in/been a presenter in various decision-making forums and if you are experienced in strategic work.
