Industry: Logistics / E-commerce / Customer Delivery Services Location: Lekki Phase 1, Lagos State Employment Type: Full-Time Reports To: Business Development & Operations Manager Experience: 2–4 Years Salary: ₦150,000 – ₦200,000 Monthly Job Summary The Delivery Officer (Dispatch Rider) is responsible for the safe, timely, and efficient pickup and delivery of packages across Lagos State. The role requires strong knowledge of Lagos routes, excellent time management, strict adherence to road safety regulations, and a high level of professionalism in customer interactions. The ideal candidate will ensure accurate, secure, and prompt last-mile delivery services while maintaining the integrity of all assigned items and representing the organization professionally at all delivery points. Key Responsibilities
- Delivery & Logistics Operations
Pick up and deliver packages to assigned locations across Lagos. Ensure proper verification of items before dispatch. Deliver packages safely, securely, and within agreed timelines. Handle all items with care to prevent loss, damage, or misplacement.
- Customer Service & Professional Conduct
Maintain a professional image when interacting with customers and vendors. Communicate politely and effectively at all delivery points. Verify recipient details before releasing any package. Obtain proof of delivery (signature, photo confirmation, or digital acknowledgment).
- Route Planning & Navigation
Use GPS and navigation tools to plan efficient delivery routes. Navigate Lagos traffic effectively to ensure timely deliveries. Adjust routes based on real-time traffic conditions and delays.
- Motorcycle & Equipment Management
Ensure assigned motorcycle is clean, roadworthy, and in good working condition. Conduct routine checks before and after daily operations. Report mechanical faults or maintenance needs promptly. Adhere strictly to all traffic laws and road safety regulations.
- Reporting & Documentation
Maintain accurate delivery logs and records. Submit daily reports to the Operations team. Report delivery delays, failed deliveries, or incidents immediately.

Requirements Education
Minimum of ND, SSCE
Licensing
Valid Rider's Permit Valid Driver's License (mandatory)
Experience
2–4 years' experience as a dispatch rider, courier officer, or delivery personnel Experience in customer-facing logistics roles is an added advantage
Technical Skills Core Skills & Competencies

Working Conditions
