ASSISTANT SALES MANAGER / SALES ANALYST
Industry: Telecommunications / Internet Service Provider (ISP) Location: Abuja, Nigeria Employment Type: Full-Time, Onsite Reports To: Sales Manager / Head of Sales Salary: ₦350,000 – ₦400,000 Monthly Net Experience: Minimum 3–5 years' relevant experience, with mandatory ISP/Telecommunications experience Job Summary We are seeking a results-driven and commercially focused Assistant Sales Manager / Sales Analyst to support the Sales Manager in driving revenue growth, supervising the sales team, and ensuring consistent achievement of sales targets. The successful candidate will supervise Sales Persons/Connectivity Consultants, provide guidance on customer solutions, monitor sales activities and reports, and support the effective execution of the company's sales acquisition processes. Key Responsibilities
Assist the Sales Manager in leading, supervising, and motivating the sales team towards achieving revenue and business targets. Supervise the activities and performance of Sales Persons/Connectivity Consultants using established sales processes, tools, PIFs, and reporting systems. Review and provide guidance on solutions proposed to prospects based on the Prospect Information Form (PIF). Support the development and execution of sales plans and strategies to increase customer acquisition and revenue. Monitor team performance, pipeline activities, conversions, and achievement against set targets. Prepare periodic sales activity and performance reports for the Sales Manager/HOD. Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, prospects, and service engagements. Present and sell the company's connectivity products and services to existing and prospective customers. Maintain strong knowledge of the company's products, services, pricing, rates, and value propositions. Engage customers professionally, understand their requirements, and recommend appropriate connectivity solutions. Monitor market and competitor activities and provide relevant insights to the Sales Manager. Ensure company sales schemes, procedures, processes, and initiatives are effectively implemented by team members. Identify performance gaps within the sales team and provide appropriate coaching and support. Ensure team members maintain high standards of professionalism, administrative compliance, customer service, and corporate presentation. Support the resolution of customer enquiries and ensure timely follow-up on prospects and existing accounts. Work closely with other departments to ensure seamless customer onboarding and service delivery. Participate in sales activities, customer engagements, weekends, or public holidays when required. Perform other duties and responsibilities assigned by the Sales Manager/HOD.
Qualifications & Requirements
Bachelor's Degree or HND in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, Economics, Telecommunications, Information Technology, or a related discipline. Minimum of 3–5 years' relevant sales experience, preferably in a supervisory or team-lead capacity. Mandatory experience in the Telecommunications, ISP, Broadband, Connectivity, or related technology industry. Proven experience supervising or coordinating a sales team. Demonstrated experience in B2B/B2C sales, customer acquisition, account management, and business development. Strong understanding of connectivity solutions, internet services, telecommunications products, or related technology solutions. Experience working with sales reports, CRM systems, pipeline management tools, and sales performance metrics. Strong analytical, reporting, negotiation, and presentation skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong customer-service orientation and commercial awareness. Ability to work with targets and perform effectively in a fast-paced, results-driven environment. Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.

Personal Responsibilities
Report directly to the Sales Manager/HOD. Support the day-to-day operational activities of the Sales Department. Maintain punctuality and ensure adherence to team schedules. Ensure assigned sales and operational responsibilities are completed within agreed timelines. Attend to customer enquiries with professionalism, empathy, and a solution-oriented approach. Keep up to date with departmental and company communications, policies, procedures, and announcements. Support the team during weekends and public holidays when business requirements necessitate. Take ownership of assignments and responsibilities delegated by the Sales Manager/HOD.
